    Except for the jpeg compression, it almost smacks of movie reel footage. The only think I'd do is give a little more contrast and crop it somehow, and it'd be fantastic. Perhaps, add a movie reel border as well.

    Happy New Year to you as well. The fireworks themselves look great, and I love the idea. Though, the other bits are a bit distracting. However, I want to try the idea out, myself. Great thinking

    That's my favourite kind of photo, and one I try to do. It's done quite well. However, be careful with noise in the darker areas, and separate the tones a bit more and it should be a killer shot.

    I can see that b&w will be popular this year, and this is the reason, a great photograph like this will inspire others. Well balanced tones, and good control of detail.
