I actually did this using Google's photo program (which by the way is very simplified and has some nice features...it's called Picassa...it's also free).

I have definately not come close to mastering the art of concert photography. I was shooting with a Nikon D50 and a nikkor 60 Micro Nikkor (2.8)

I just don't know what to do to make them better!

I think I shot this was around 50 on the shutter, ISO 1600...

Any advice?

Who wore this dress? What was the event? How long has it been hanging? What happened when the woman wore it? How did she feel in it?
