Thank you, Trisha, for looking. Yes, this is one of my all-time favorites.

Thank you, Frank. The zebra was indeed in a zoo (in Sacramento). The building was on a street in Toronto. They have the most wonderful graffiti there I have ever seen. But I thought this wall was perfect for "Waldo."

I always wish I could do this sort of thing. It is just beautiful. Do you think it would work to continue the shadow line across her skirt, and sort of tie her into the rocks more? Maybe not, but I was drawn to the contrast in the rocks. Wonderful composition and story (multiple possibilities).

Great idea! Love the whimsey. You could have one arm emerging from the inside of the back of the couch, if you wanted to take it to extremes (like I do!). In fact, have a bunch of them emerging, from various places. Embrace the creepiness! Just a suggestion. Nice exposure, too.

Very beautiful and mysterious. I love the ghostly figures. I find the large foreground concrete (?) to be too heavy, tho. I would crop it from the bottom right up to the point where the two pieces join. Just my opinion. Lovely work.

One I wish I had taken! Simple, perfect.

Many beautiful pictures of soaring cathedrals never reach this level. Thank you for posting.

This caught my eye (and sometimes that is hard to do!). It is evocative and I want to walk down that street. Maybe someone is lurking around the corner. I don't know, and that is what makes it interesting. Perhaps a little crop off the right side, to make it even more narrow, and get rid of some of the distracting out of focus wall (although I love the texture of the wall).

Just saw this today and was bowled over by how damn good it is!

This is spectacular. I wish I had taken it. It is wonderful to see NYC through your eyes.

I spent somewhat less than two days in this beautiful city. Wandering around on a cold winter morning by the docks, I wondered what this building was. The sun was coming up and I felt like I had slipped into Russia or something.

Love this take on the magnificent magnolia.

This really caught my eye. Yes, one of those "stacked focus" techniques could be used here to good effect. Love the thought, tho.

This captures that Southern flavor beautifully. I want to sit on that porch and sip sweet tea on a long hot afternoon.

I love all of these, but I think this is my favorite. One little thing tho: I would have smoothed out the nipple area more, to make her "perfectly" stone like. The concept is marvelous. Well done.

The originality of this image just stuns me. I see a very deliberate metaphor for women having to cover their faces in certain cultures. The composition and colors are classically beautiful, and I think this contribute to the shock of covering most of the model's face. "Pushing the envelope" is a necessary component of making art.

I think it is just fine. The exposure on the birds is good, and the sky is not important, in my opinion. In fact, a white sky would be less distracting, maybe. This is a great moment. I shoot ospreys sometimes, too, and they are difficult to expose correctly with bright sun, due to the dark and light coloration. (you could clone out the dark area on the left, too).

This style is beautiful and I wish I could do it! I think you have done a lovely job of bringing out the look of this woman.

Yes, it's true that it's "right heavy", but I think you could counter that by brightening the whites of the left side and darkening the blacks on the right side, and leave the poles in the middle, where they are quite interesting. Basically create a more definite side light. Or you could move the moon to the exact center. Make it bigger and put it right behind the middle two poles.
I really like your idea here, and wouldn't take the time to look at it if I didn't.

This is just exquisite. It really speaks to me. I love the lighting, the "atmospherics", the pose of the figures and their placement in the frame. You have a wonderful portfolio. Thank you for your kind comment on my St. Lawrence River reflection picture. I am glad you liked it.

You are so right, the composition wasn't the best. I was desperate to get the little girl in an interesting pose, and didn't have the best position. Glad you liked the color, tho. Just another experiment!

Thank you. I took out the horizon that was there because I thought it would look more ethereal. I appreciate your comment.

It is uncanny how we like the same subjects. This is terrific. Where is it??? I must know! (I actually prefer it to the Ladies Room). I could put a zebra, or something else in here...
Thanks for your comments on my pictures.
