Nice shot, I always like the "fireworks effect" from fabrication shots. A little advise from observation, Always use a filter of some sort to protect your lens from debris. I have seen the effects of metal shavins on a "naked" lens and its not pretty.

Good Eye. The multiple catch lights are from the sb800 I used for fill. This is a captive bird, he was injured and will not be able to be returned to the wild. A local Bird rescue group had him on display. Should I burn the " extra " reflections from the eye? -
