Absolutely one of the most amazing, incredible wildlife images I've ever seen. Spectacular work delivered with consummate skill by the photographer. Thank you for sharing this. BD

Absolutely beautiful. There's something about the skies in Iceland that are more beautiful than anywhere else in the world. It's probably the purity of the air. Thanks for sharing this. BD

Lovely shot ... I really like these birds but was never able to capture a good photo of one. Thanks for sharing this. Was it Tanzania?

Irmgard, I think this is a very powerful portrait. I think you've captured something here. Even without your description of the subject's job or station in life, I think it could have almost been deduced from your image. I think Rohinton Mistry described it as the "fine balance" between hope and despair. Well done, my friend. Exceptional work, thanks for sharing it. BD

Obviously, this is a spectacular image. Nothing out of the ordinary for an Adamus shot. There are two things that continually amaze me about your stuff. They are (1) you pull out all the stops to get your photos ... that is, you don't mind sleeping in a tent in sub-zero temps to get the definitive Crater Lake image, you'll hike for miles for a wilderness shot that most of us would never have the energy to pursue, etc etc etc... and (2) when you take a picture like this, the viewer gets full photographic disclosure. You don't mind telling where it was taken, the filters used, the digital techniques ... no secrets. You're not just a superb photographer, you are a gracious human being. Always a joy to see your stuff.

Lovely spot Cheryl. If you visit this location at dawn on a foggy morning and bring your tripod for a long exposure, I think you might come away with an exceptionally beautiful result. Keep up the good work.
