    Nice shot. I have a Sigma 500mm lens and it's the sharpest, fastest lens I own. Much better image quality than the much more expensive Nikkor lenses I have. Almost every shot in my Africa portfolio was taken with it. Great work. BD

    Kurt ... I'm with you on the PS capability. I'd like very much to learn what Joseph described above. That aside, I wanted to tell you how much I love this shot and your landscapes in general. I think the blown out moon on this one is a good thing for two reasons. (1) It's somewhat obscured by the cloud anyway ... so the effect is a good one, and (2) I don't think you could have captured the cloud motion without overexposing the moon ... and the cloud motion is truly awesome. I love this image, and your work in general is special and wonderful. Thank you very much for posting it.

    I like it. Not sure what you did to it in photoshop but it makes it very wall-worthy in my estimation. Also brings back memories for me ... well done, and thanks for sharing it. BD
