  1. Jayme - this backdrop is only 6'x9' but then like you said when dealing with one child, especially infants that don't move it doesn't have to be that big. I bought it really cheap from a lady on ebay. I could email her user name to you if you'd like. She was selling two at the time I purchase so I am sure she'll be selling more. Let me know. I am taking a set of three older children this Tuesday so I am trying to think of something different and fun for them. I just bought three new backdrops....pink/yellow mottled, gray mottled and brown/light blue mottled. Good luck painting. Let me know how it turns out and maybe someday I'll give it a shot. There is also a person on ebay selling natural muslin really cheap just for the purpose of painting...an idea for you.

Cute expression and outstanding color tones. The only nitpicking thing is I see alot of fingers under her which are kind of odd for the composition.

Very good candid shot - I wish the man's hand wasn't in it or more the man was in it - make sense? It just appears to be a floating hand. I love the blurred people in the background.

Darling - she is precious and I love the angle at which you shot this. I tend to forget to get up and shoot from above. I am always laying on the floor so hopefully I'll put this in my memory bank of ideas and try to emulate it one day.

Interesting little boy - makes me wonder what his life is like. My only critique would be to include the top of his head since you have most of his body in the shot. The DOF is great as is the placement of him to the left.

Great job with the tones and crop. I love baby part shots. This baby's toes are just perfect. I also love the folds in the skins. Keep up the good work....

Beautiful shot. She is radiant and the lighting jsut enhances her wonderfully. Great job!! I also like the texture of the stone in contrast with the softness of her skin.

This is my little subject thus far - 5 weeks old. I used a midnight

sepia effect and desaturated it. What do you think or recommend?

Great portrait - I can never find older people with such character so I stick to children. I am sure each wrinkle he has earned.
