What a great environmental portrait. Frankly, I don't like that you can't see any of the workman's face, but it seems to fit. The people that do the dirty work of life are often unseen. I like the grease and grime covering the mans clothes and boots, and the gears just pull it all together. Good work! -

Eddie, you will be a little surprised when I tell you that this is really not as manipulated as you may think. In fact, I didn't manipulate this photo at all. While shooting in an abandoned building with friends, I got bored and started doing long exposures. Call it a lucky accident, someone walked out with a flashlight. Pretty soon we had it down perfect. An exposure long enough to streak the light, short enough that it didn't capture the person waving around like mad. No photoshop. See what happens when you get bored?
