1. URP!

I have 15 (220) rolls of that left. The only reason tossed in the trash, was that I paid for it.

In my very humble opinion, 400CN is nothing like Tri-X 400. If I lived in a perfect world, I would have nothing but a refridgerator full of Tri-X 400 and Agfa APX 400.

I shot an engagement photo set with 400CN and I have been kicking my self for not loading Tri-X that shoot.
00G9tU-29593584.jpg.cba4a9d4837dbefb9f9892b19320c828.jpg

  2. Hello,

Via eBay I purchased a Hasselblad back for my 500CM. This back is

for 4x5 film. I have never used 4x5 film and I do not know how to

load this film in to this type of back. Any suggestions, hints,

URLs, advise, knowledge would greatly be apprecited.

    Thank you.

I will attached a photo of the film back just in case I am not

    describing my issue well enough.

  3. I am new to PN and to this level of photography. I have been a shutter bug since high school and just took 'snaps'. I am still in my first year of spending any kind of serious time, effort, and money on my photography hobby.

I know that my photos will be 'so-so' in most people's eyes. I do look forward to any constructive comments on my photos. I have gotten past the outrage at someone giving me a 1/1 without any comments, I would be happy with "it sucks". I know that some people dont/wont like my stuff, just as I find that I shy away from digital/PS work. I prefer photos done with film, just a personal favorite/interest.

My point, I am not sure...I think I got off track. The short of it is -- I will never be able to please everyone. If I can see some kind of improvement in my work, I will be happy. I know putting my work out for public critique I am going to get a less than desired reaction from the members/guests.

  4. I use my NPC polaroid back with my Hasselblad 500C/M. I agree that it
is only a rough thumbnail on how the final product will look. When
I do self-portraits, I need to know how to stage and block the
camera, the polaroid lets me see what the lense sees without me
being able to look thru the lense. I got mine on Ebay for $25, for
a Hassy accessorie, not a bad price.
