1.
I have a 2,8 AI and it is amazingly sharp on my D700. Very compact, smooth focusing and very nice results. Good for portraits too.

 2.
curiousity killed........

 3.

What I miss

is that it still takes a good eye to capture a great shot, no matter what camera one uses!

 4.
I live near the Keukenhof and we had a very mild winter, flowers are coming out of the ground now, but Keukenhof usually has a keen spread of blooming flowers over it's 8 week opening period. There will be plenty of other flowers in bloom in May.
Take the effort of visiting Leiden, an old university town. A vibrant and beautiful city 20km from the Keukenhof, a lot smaller, but as pretty as Amsterdam, but without the idiots and stag parties. Also take a trip to Rotterdam. Interesting architecture, and much more city feel that any other place in Holland.

 5.
I'd suggest not to walk from Lofoten to the Azores.....

 6.
I think that you should either lower your expectations or raise your budget. Indoor Basketball and Soccer outdoor to me seem like sports that need a fast AF body, high ISO capability, and fast AFS (hence expensive) lenses. You just limited your choices by getting the D5200 for it does not have fast AF or high ISO capability. No lens is going to compensate for that.

Before you rush off to the camera shop, first get used to your current set up and try to rent a lens, before you drop the money on the counter.

 7.
If they do the 400 2,8 too, I'll take a couple of them......

 8.
You can wander around Christiana and take pictures as much as you like. It's a kind of a commune within Copenhagen with its own rules and atmosphere. A lot of creative people there as well.

 9.
I have been to Copenhagen a number of times and I find it one of prettiest cities in Europe. I totally disagree with David's remarks. Just walk around and you'll see tons of things worth taking pictures of.
Go to Christiana, that's a place quite different and very appealing.

 10.
On topic: Luka try to use the automated settings for a while and then switch to more control from your side. See what the results are and keep on practicing.

 11.
Judging by his name, Rob is a fellow countryman of mine, so the risk of skunks or any other nasty creatures is low.

I suggest proper clothing against the insects, much cheaper and probably more effective than fancy gimmicks.

 12.

So where I may only have a few good years left I want the best I can afford to round out my years of doing this.

There you have it. If that is what you want, go for the Nikon. Once in a while you've got to give yourself a little present. Have fun with it!

 13.
Shun obviously missed the famous Pigs in Space episode on the Muppet Show......
