Good HDR and I like the sky, but what I think is lacking is a strong foreground to really be the focus of the photo.

Beautiful color contrasts and composition to make it abstract. Great job. Not sure why the only vote right now is such a low number (3/3). It deserves much more.

This is an old one that I never posted here for some reason. I had it
printed as a 12x18 and it looks good. Any comments? I know the
mountains seem a bit dark, but this photo was taken well after the sun
set behind the mountains. There is still plenty of detail. I've been
attracted to this photo since I took it, even though it's not the most
dramatic.

Great detail all around!

This is a very interesting photo. I like it. I can't explain every reason why I like it, but I do. The silhouette is great, as well as the light, and colors.

Good eye for finding the rocks shaped like that, and then making them work in this shot so well. The light is great, as well as the composition.

This photo really wasn't supposed to look like this. At first I
thought it was a loss, but somehow came to like it somewhat and
decided to post here to see what others think. It is blurry from my
lens having some moisture on it (after wiping raindrops from it) and
the blue light must be from the white balance being wrong, and a
longer exposure. I dont know what to expect from this photo. All
comments welcome. Thanks.

I like how the lines in the photo intersect. I love fog for photos. Good job on this.

I work in the spring and summer as a treeplanter in B.C. and on the
break between the spring and summer seasons I was on a spraying crew
in Clearwater, B.C., just outside Wells Gray Park. The weather for a
few days kept us on fire hours and on the first day we decided to take
a trip on our time off into the park, and I of course brought my
camera. This photo is an HDR/multiple exposure. This was taken at 28mm
I believe, my widest angle lens at the time. I'd love to go back
someday with my 10-20mm lens. I love taking waterfall photos, so any
and all critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking.

I visited Helmcken Falls this summer as I was on a break from my treeplanting job for a few days and got a few shots of it as well. I was going to post mine up for critique last night but posted another instead. I wish I had my wider angle lens with me at the time, but I did alright with my 28-70mm. This is a good shot you have, however, too much of the water in the river is overexposed. Also, to be honest, I dont know how well B&W works on this image. I would like to see the color version of this and see which I like more. Overall, though, this is a good shot and a beautiful location. I wish we had had more time to explore Wells Gray Park. We only had half a day before needing to go back to work again in Clearwater. I'll post my photo on here for you to see.

This shot really stands out to me among the others in the gallery. I'm surprised at some of the low ratings that some people have given to it. This shot is both quite original and visually pleasing. I love the bright and dark color contrasts, as well as the detail in the water. The seagull is a small distraction but not enough to matter. The reflection in the sand is great, and something I don't see too often in sunset photos. Good job on this photo!

Let me know how you like this photo. He knew I was there, but this
wasn't posed. I had to keep trying to get one I liked because he was
walking around, etc. Thanks for looking.

This is a good shot, but I wonder what it would look like if it weren't square and more of the trees higher up could be seen. In my opinion, it's the fog in the trees that really helps make this shot what it is.

Excellent and very bright capture of the bottom of the rainbow!

Great clarity. The pure blue sky almost works just fine in this photo, although a few small clouds may have helped a bit. Too bad you didn't get this shot later in the fall with the aspens turning brighter colors. Overall, a nice photo.

This was taken in Slave Lake, Alberta, this summer. In my hurry to
find anywhere to shoot the sunset from, I came across the train tracks
and they provided a good location. I like how the tracks turned out;
just how I wanted. Any comments on this one? Thanks.

I can't tell how edited this photo is, but it is quite attractive, especially with the black frame. I like how the tree in front isn't completely centered. The colors and contrast are good.

This is a good closeup photo of the creek, but to be honest I wish I could see more in a wider angle, assuming there is more to see. It just seems too constricted how it is and the water is flowing so much over the long shutter that there isn't much of it to see, and not much going on with it. The most attractive part of the photo, to me, is the mist and the trees.
