I like your concept. IMO your flower needs to be a little sharper. Keep experimenting.

This is a good idea but because you are taking a photo of a monitor, you definitely lose sharpness. Maybe you could try the unsharp mask in PS.

Robert: You are right about the third dimension. This was digitally altered
to create a simple pattern of branches. Alas the third dimension was lost with whimsy.

Great smoke shot. The lighting is very nice. The detail is excellent.
It works as a nice abstract pattern.

This is really a great photo. The whites are perfect. This is difficult with a digital camera. Very well done.

Nice detail. It looks like the highlights on your rose and leaves are a little bright.
Keep shooting. The bright sunlight is difficult for digital cameras.
