  1. Excellent shot. The position of the legs and wings are perfect, it looks like the dragonfly has either just landed or is about to take off. The out of focus flower at the bottom also adds some colour and interest to this picture.

Excellent use of colour to fill the foreground. There is a lot to explore from the flowers in the foreground, through details of the tree and towards the bench in the background. If I may add a little bit of criticism, I would have allowed more space for the bench. As it is now, it occupies only a relatively small part of the scene. Maybe a step towards the right would have allowed for the bench to stand out more.

  2. Great use of colour. I also like the opposition between the brighter right hand part of the picture and the darker left hand part. It helps lead the eye into the picture from the left and explore it in detail.

Brilliant, the inclusion of the person at the bottom of the steps really brings this picture to life and adds a great point of interest.

    Excellent picture, beautifully framed.

Thank you Don. I welcome your comments. I have only taken a couple of shots, so can't post more at the moment, but I will take your remarks into account for a future session.

  3. Excellent picture. I like the way you captured the light rays, with the sun blocked by the tree in the foreground. You did a great job at exposing the scene. The person adds scale and, more importantly, a sense of mystery.

Top marks for your picture. This picture has also allowed me to discover your excellent portfolio.

Wow. Having been up on the Eiffel tower quite a few times, I've never seen anything like this. There is no question about where you got the title from.

I hope you have a good camera insurance.

Simply brilliant. The longer I look at it, the dizzier I get. It took me a while before I saw what it was, which adds to the interest of the picture. Even amongst the small tumbnail images on the photo.net home page, this one leaped off the screen and asked for a closer look.

Of course there will have been other people who tried this, but that is not the point. This is perfectly planned, beautifully executed and nicely presented. If you don't mind posting a large file by e-mail for me to print and keep for myself, then count me in.

Congratulations. Now I'm over to the rest of your portfolio to have a look.
