I Love it!! the way the fog is illuminated, and the hairlight on the sillhouetted, oblivious people... gorgeous! Can we see the colour version?

More anti olympics grafitti on the DTES

Downtown East side, Canada's poorest neighborhood, where people openly sell and use crack

cocaine and heroin directly across the street from the police station..... and no one does a

damned thing about it. They will ship them all out, and sweep these streets before the

olympics, you can bet.

Great natural colours, and mood....... I think this would look great in B$W too.... something to condider?

I can't figure it out!!! Nothing on the neg, but EVERY time i scan it, this saturated line appears

3/4 of the way down the neg!!!! Arrrgg!!! Any help would be appreciated.

I have been scanning my delta 400 in colour neg profile, pushing

reds, and desaturating 90 percent... warms it up a bit, and I like

the smoothness and plasticity i get... that's as tweaky as I get

right now..

On this bitterly cold morning, I saw this street person talking with these policemen, one of

them opened the trunk, and fished out some warm wool hats... I anticipated a heart-warming

photo op, as they handed the poor woman a warm hat , to sheild herself from the cold, I

readied my camera...... and the cop tossed one hat to his partner, put the other on his head,

and closed the trunk. So much for chivalry. moments after I took this pic, someone threw a

bottle from the hotel above, narrowly missing the officer in front of me...

thousand $$ fine for walking your dog off-leash at this beach..... dude doesnt care

casualty vampires, and normal people.

I see this guy everywhere, I used to know him well before he got into heroin..... He's a

burning man pioneer, used to live in his vw van and do burning man every year in the 90's

a more subtle watermark would help this shot? I love it, the low light, depth of field, diminishing perspective, all very nice.... I like low light colour photography, maybe you could watermark a corner? ruins the pic IMHO...... If someone is really determined to steal it, they will steal it.

a crappy day on mt. whistler.. the sun tries to peek through

Dead quiet, 3am DTES... streetlight. I love Urban decay, and the fact that People walk past

this very spot every day, noses held high, living in delusion.... royalty in their own minds as

they step over needles and used condoms.........priceless.

Okay, I promise, no more of these silly birds..... I was obsessed with this spot since the

morning I got a shot of this bird spreading it's wings, warming up in the early morning sun...

I lost the neg, and was committed to getting that shot again..... for about a week. Maybe next

year.
