Yes we had plenty of candles and firewood. Now there's a big mess left from the ice storm,

we lost a few trees.

Jan where it's darker in this picture the hill curves back into a quarry where the 3 hills come together. I'll look for more pictures from here.

A beautiful composition! I like the snow resting at the birch trees base and then watching the light fall throughout your photo.The snow and ice patches as it weaves through the pond with the shadows and light is very good. All of this gives such a nice balance and makes an excellent winter nature scene.
