Not sure, but you certainly won't get proper focus.

Even with corrective lenses it looks pretty clear to me

I would wait to see what the Panasonic GF-1 will be like.

I like Adorama a lot and concur with Dayton.

Contax is repaired by ToCAD America in New Jersey.

For what I have heard, ToCAD does a fine job of repairing G1s and G2s.

The 28 Biogon should work with no problems. As your friend might have surmised, there must be a problem with the lens. I would have it checked out.

Just so we're clear Patrick, I did not have these options before. And I did press that little arrow the many times after I uninstalled and installed the printer driver.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks Godfrey. I can't tell how many times I have tried finding the options I need. Honestly, they were not there the countless times I deleted and reinstalled the driver until yesterday morning when I did all again. Maybe it was the karma of photo.net......
Thanks for your help.

I finally found everything. What an ordeal. It is not as clear as the printer driver in OS9. I found everything finally, paper settings, dpi settings, etc.. Thank you all for your help!
Patrick, I did click on that arrow. CS4 is very different from CS2, 3, etc..
I just hope I can find them again.
I guess having installed and reinstalled the driver, somewhere along the line line, it finally installed correctly. These options were not here before.
Thanks all again!

Ah ha, I finally found it! At least the media type choices. It is really buried.

Godfrey,

your windows are different. I am printing through CS4 which should be similar, but is not. I do not have media type choices or dpi choice settings for the printer. I had all of these when I was using OS9. They are not here. I have checked every drop down menu, clicked on every arrow. My windows are different then the windows you posted.

When I click on the print button, look at my last post, it prints.

Patrick,
Here is the last window.

Thanks.

Patrick, the screen shots are of the ones I get in Photoshop. I don't have Gutenprint.

Gentleman, they are the only two windows that I get....

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver many, many times. I get no printing options. I am at a loss.

-

and this..... No paper options or output options for printer.

-

This is what I get.....

I have the correct driver, but the options are missing. I have checked other forums and see that there are problems with Epson printers and the newest Leopard operating system. It seems some have figured it out, some still are trying. It is seemingly a crapshoot. I've tried everything. The printer works fine, except I do not have any options in the printer menu. I really need to speak with someone who has the same printer and operating system, and has figured this out.

I recently upgraded my Mac and am having trouble printing with my Epson 2200. It seems that I do not have all the printing options that I had when printing with the Mac OS9 operating system. I am missing paper choices, dpi printing options, etc.. I did download the proper printer driver according to the Epson site, but I cannot print any imagery above 72 dpi, the default. How do I obtain the printing options that had when using OS9? I am printing through CS4.

Thanks!

I highly recommend the Panasonic 7-14 and the 14-45 lenses. They're really top notch. The 45-200 is fine, but the others are better optically.

M9 Body Questions
in Leica and Rangefinders
Posted

"Materials and build quality

Just like the M8 the main body is made from a two-piece magnesium alloy cast (shown below). The top plate which contains the viewfinder chamber and controls is milled from a single block of brass, likewise the removable base (which covers the battery and SD compartment) is also made of brass. To say that the M9 is well built and robust is perhaps an understatement, the M series of cameras have a reputation for their longevity."

You can see that the shape of the top plate is a bit different.
