1.
Thank you Ken and Lex. I never even think of the differences in optical versus EVFs. I can understand those that might be bothered by EVFs, but I use the tool that is available and I find the EVF of the OMD to be extremely excellent. One feature I enjoy, as well as to save battery power, is the ability to turn off the EVF, even though the OMD has an eye sensor. The OMD is also one of the quietest cameras I can recall. As quiet as my M7.

 2.
I've been using the OMD for a few weeks, and all I can say is that it is awesome. The IQ, the AF, its compactness. It might replace my Leica M9! I was having an issue with the AF after a few weeks. It seemed to struggle and lag. I use the Panasonic 14/2.5 Aspherical mostly. I contacted Olympus and a tech rep suggested I do a reset, it is in the menu, with the lens attached. It cured all ills. I still don't know if I have to do this periodically. Maybe Olympus is working on a firmware upgrade for Panasonic lenses.
Anyway, a great camera!
Some imagery here - http://keithgoldstein.me/

 3.
William Klein.
"" Klein employed a wide-angle lens (28mm), fast film, and novel framing and printing procedures to make images in a fragmented, anarchic mode that emphasized raw immediacy and highlighted the photographer\'s presence in the scene."

 4.
For best SD card performance, I would suggest reformatting the card in the camera after downloading files from it. Do not just delete the files. Fully reformat the card. I would also suggest not using a card larger then 4gb. Less chance of something going wrong and losing lots of files.

 5.
"Jim Tardio , Mar 19, 2011; 10:09 p.m. Have a look at some of the Olympus m4/3s lenses. They are smaller."

But somewhat slower.

 6.
I would take the 7-14, 14-45, and 45-200. Don't forget a couple of extra cards and an extra battery or two. You're set for any situation. I carry this kit with my GF1 for travel. It all fits in a small light shoulder bag.

 7.
If you can find a GF1, I highly recommend it. The Lumix lenses are superb and the autofocus is extremely fast. Jpegs might not be as good as the Olympus, I have never seen them. but I don't use jpegs anyway.

A friend of mine recently bought a EPL-2, and hated it after shooting with it for a day. Apparently settings change by themselves and he found the camera's menu impossible to navigate and nonintuitive to use. He found a gently used GF1 the next day and loves it! Anyone want to buy a day old EPL-2?
