Very nice composition Sam, You might consider a small crop on the right to remove the bright lights at the end of the bridge in the foreground. To me they are a little distracting.

Nice image Mike. FWIW I think I would have liked to see the peak of the roof in either the reflection or the house.

Daniel, It is especially important on an image like this that it be tack sharp and that the DOF be such that at least the entire "face" be in focus. It is an interesting creature and to have what appears to be its tongue sticking out is again unique to go along with your point of view. It just needs to be sharper.

Hello, Exposure and composition seem fine however IMO you really should straighten the horizon.

This is a very pleasing image. Tack sharp, great colors excellent DOF. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Robert, IMHO without a focal point the lines created by the branches are just that, lines. Some of the lines do make interesting objects, like the girl/young lady that appears to be flying through the image or leaning out off of the bow of the Titanic like Kate Winslett in the movie. I hope you do not mind but I made a copy of your image and darkened the area I am talking about because it would have been too hard to describe. Maybe if there was a way to more subtly draw attention to that area you would have a little something more out of this image.

Nice image Etienne. I believe that the left side of your image needs to be cropped to remove the buds (and the stem) that are cut off on that side as I find them distracting from your image. Exposure looks good as you maintained good detail in the white wings although a little selective brightening of the flower and the other buds would not hurt.

Wonderful image that works very well in black & white. Composition is right on the money as the fence leads your eye perfectly into the scene.

Nice Shot Lev. You might want to do a search of internet videos "Stand by me playing for change". I think you will find this gentleman in the video. If it is not him the video is worth watching as it is an excellent editing job as singers from around the world are blended into a single video, hard to describe you will see when you watch it.

What do you think of this image, I can't seem to make up my mind, to
me, there just seems to be something missing. Maybe it is the
background which is almost pure white simply because we have quite a
lot of snow here and that's about all you can see wherever you look.
Thanks for looking and all critiques and comments are welcome and
appreciated.

Hello Anatoly, for me the building being sideways and going from corner to corner does not work here.

Hello Harry, I really love the color and texture of both the sky and smoke trail. Believe it or not I almost find the plane to be distracting, I guess because of its size within the image. I am not sure I know how I might crop the image to make the plane a little larger in the image but you could probably take a little from the right , top and bottom without negatively impacting the rest of the image. That would also move the plane out of dead center which I think might help the overall composition of the image.

Hello William, Very nice casual portrait. IMHO you could tighten up the crop on the top of the image as it adds nothing to the image. Good job.

Hello Kenneth, A couple of observations about this shot and why it really does not work for me. I believe that you needed to include the whole bottom of the tree in the foreground at the very least if not the whole tree. The background fences are also more of a distraction then a help. Maybe if you had taken a vertical approach to the scene it would have lessened the distracting background on the left and the tree would have felt more isolated. The colors are great, especially the red and orange against the blue sky.

Great image of a great location. Exposure is spot on.

Any and all comments or critiques are welcome. I realize that the
shot is rather cliche.

Quite an image however it hurts my eyes to look at it.
