Wow, wow, wow....look at the detail in this photo! I am envious. You can see the individual spicules in the sponge. Amazing.

Spectacular photo. I really enjoy seeing the odd balls and this one is no exception.
-
Nice photo. Looks like a Turbinaria in the foreground and a spectacular Dendronepthea in the back. I think the saturation can be pumped up a bit though.

What is happening in this photo? Why is this tree levitating? Please tell the story.

Jerry,
This photo is fantastic. Words cannot describe your talent with a camera. Just curious, how many shots did you take before you got one that was this good?
Regards, Robert

This is spectacular. Very delicate, I only wish the flower petals were a little more in focus.

Very nice shot of a very dark Amphiprion polymnus clownfish. I bet she was trying to tear your mask off!

Wonderful composition and lighting. Great job!

What a spectacular looking duck and the photo is nearly perfect. Great job.

WOW! You actually found and photographed Mother Nature. Congrats.

Ummm....you have a lot to learn about animal identification too! I hate to break it to you, but this critter is a tree mink.
-
Fabulous, as usual. Good to see you back again, Jerry!

Nice shot! Were we standing next to each other?

Nice photograph, Phil. The composition and light is stunning. I don't think you should get worked up over the 3/3 ratings, we all know an outstanding photo when we see it and this certainly is one of those.

Beyoootiful! Look at the massive dual scoops for the radiators. That was some machine! 5 blades and the prop still must be 12 feet in diameter. Now that must've been a ton of horsepower to absorb. Wish I was there to hear the music that bird was creating during a high speed pass.
-
Nope, only 7. If there were more cyclinders behind (2 rows of 7 cylinders) there would be 14 total. If there were a second row, those cylinders would be clearly visible between the cylinders of the first row. In addition to that, if it were a 14 cylinder radial, that would develop LOTS of horsepower. Enough horsepower that would require a much large diameter propeller or possibly a 3 bladed propeller.
Nevertheless, Great photo!

Robert

Elisabeth,
Nice photo of a beautiful machine. You might try counting those jugs again though! I see a 7 cylinder Curtiss Wright radial!
Keep up the good work.
