    Let me add that I am terrible at making filler flash work to my advantage. It's an art, and I'm still working with it. My results tend to be washed of color...but that's the fun. When you get something good, it was all worth it.

    Sure, and this just my opinion, I think the area around below her chin and around her neck is too dark. Like I said, this is still a fun capture, and who carries around an external flash and a diffuser?

    Kent, this is a well composed shot, and probably as you want it, but I want a little more light her right (our left) so the defintion isn't lost. Her expression is a great capture.

    Excellent job with the exposure. Fabulous, really. Why you left that chunk of sign on the right, I couldn't say. Still, this is great.

    To your point about the sterile feel of this image, I like it. There is something too perfect about this scene, and I think the result is a plastic surreal effect that I think works. It's a great shot...I guess we take from it what we will.
