white butterflies break the stillness of the night, bringing new life
to the dark woods.....

the woods .... nature's own cathedral ....

glad you enjoyed it... it does have a medieval fairy tale feel ....

Dinant Belgium.... enhanced it with some Topaz filtering

a self portrait .........

this was captured by my Canon XTi as you see it... no tweaking other than a bit of exposure correction....

the late afternoon sun plays with a stain glass window reflecting its
warm colors

just want to comment that this is not manipulated - just as it was captured on my Canon XTi.......

the sun paints a portrait on the wall of a church using the colors of a
stain glass window

I gave it a smaller frame .... in this version... not sure which is better ....

I appreciate the comment Nicholas... to do a frame or not is always a question in my mind too... I did this one with and without and decided that the framing enclosed all that blue - I felt that it needed a boundary to kind of keep it from running off .... but maybe I could subdue the frame a bit and make it less imposing...
thank you for your input... it allows me to rethink and learn.. and that is what it is all about....

grasses in a creek
in Abstract
Posted
This started out just a photo of some grasses in a small creek. I played with various programs to change it into a more abstract cubism type art piece. Then when one of my clients saw the still in process piece, he commissioned me to finish it and make it vertical so he could hang it in his bedroom. I am showing it as a horizontal piece because I personally I find that more aesthetically pleasing.
