A very graphic picture.  The umbrella is near "a strong point", you got many interesting things in this: the tiles, the top line from the streat and the contrast with the monochrome colors and the blue of the umbrella is perfect.

    great picture.

  1. Many tx for your constructive comments. It made me think the photo and that's why I'm here for :)

P.S. Yes they are some lines in the water: too much sharpening. This will be easy to correct.

Wonderfull background again, Nice crisp image. The droplets are great, good lines, nice contrasted colors. Great compo.

Trying to find a critique to help. But I just cant !! ;)

    Tx for sharring.

  2. Please view larger. Pano of 2 photos. Dont hésitate to tell me what's

missing in this photo to be a better photo. I am disapointed with it. Not

enough directional lines or objetcs in the foreground ! I dont know ?

The sun was setting to the left. So the sky is light from dark to the right

    (east).

    Tx for your help.

  3. It was a very good idea to put the horizon in a diagonal. It increase the idea of a shipwreck.

You place yourself in front of the fallen pole, that also gives great lines to the picture and it guides our eyes to the main subject.

Great work with the black and white tones. Clear sand and dark sky is very good to.

    thanks for sharring,

    Purple drop

They say that strong points are in the crossways of the 1/3 lines of the photos. So I'm thinking that the drop shoul be a little bit more lower and to the left. At the same time it could remove a little bit of white that attract the eye to the background.

But, in fact, I would not move it completely to that strong point. Maybe just a little bit and even more you could realy leave it that way.

It is a strong picture with nice, suave and poise colors. The way the petal come out of the background is a perfect presentation that leave us to the drop.

    very, very nice picture.

Felix-Antoine doing a shy lion ! I think I first ask him to show his hands and

maybe after I told him: "maybe you could show me your claws".

comments are welcome as usual, trying to improved.

Very nice art work. I like the smoothness and the choice of those fishes who once went out of the see to put some life on the ground.

regards and best of luck to you,

    fishermen

It is perfectly OK and oftenly recommended to hide all details in the subject when you chose to do a "contre-jour" - against the light shot -.

It's an artistic decision. And I find that it fits very well here. Maybe I would have put more space at the right of the last fisherman.

    But it's a great shot,

    regards,

    As A Feather

This is a great shot in my opinion, because of the top line that moves away in the photo and the waves are coming in from the opposite direction.

It's hard to have opposite diagonals.

    Great job,

    regards

It's rare and when I can, I work very hard to get a clean pupil. This photo is great because of that. The contrast in the red eye with the pupil is strong. The open beak is a good thing to. It gives some action to the photo.

    Great one, thanks for sharring.

  4. Hope high lights doesnt shock to much! I have left it that way on purpose

cause I realy liked the glow on the beak. Maybe I could have do a multi-raw

to remove some on the top of the head? Well ... Is it that dramatic ? It was

a hard sunny day ! I'll see buy the comments and rattings. Thanks :)

I see that you still have the touch with the flowers. You always find the way to be original with a subject where it is not easy to be. Here the lights that follows the petals give great directions to the background. My eyes wants to stay on the picture and explore. Very good work again, I will continue to look at your work it is very inspiring to me. Many thanks for your sharing and comments Radu. Regards, Martin.

  5. I am a little bit confuse with the category here. Should I have put this one

in portraits, but there is no face ! Could'nt put it in children, the child is

not out yet. And in nudes !!! We dont see (.)(.), rump or nothing of that...

    oh well.

I would have like to put it in the monthly project, but it was done last

year and I'm working on something else for the monthly project.

    Anyway thanks for your comments.

  6. Very original. I really like wath you did with the background, nice texture. Maybe a little bit more whites on the bottom left would have made a better "ground-wall" carving. But hey that is just me.

    Really great job,

    regards,

Very nice colors and movement. I'm curious of how the wide orange shape in the middle was done. Great diagonal and the flashy framework works very well with the picture.

    Great job,

    martin

    good morning :)

I realy like the orange tone range of this pictures. It is very soft and realistic.  The sun rays came out very well. If you did some treatement it is very well done. And it was a realy good idea to put it there, it is near a strong point in the photo, very well placed. The tree give a great diagonal line, it is better than a straight tree.

And finaly, the fog gives a realy nice mood to the picture.

you got a realy nice one there,

    congratulation,

    martin
