Kristian...this is a beautiful image. I don't understand what in the world Alan is talking about, obviously he is unfamiliar with the underwater environment. My only critique is perhaps it is a little dark, that and I wish you approached it more from the front of the nudibranch. It seems to be moving away from you, which is always considered a no-no in most wildlife situations.
Overall, I love it.

Focus on the eyes, not the part that is closest to you, in this case his mouth. Most marinelife is very unusual, so it is critical to make contact with the subject through the most common feature of the animal...the eyes.
Otherwise, very nice

What a great capture! Brings back many memories, as I played "pond hockey" as a kid growing up in the Chicago area. Still play today, only in arenas though.

Excellent exposure and composition, I only wish the fish were at more of a 45 degree angle as opposed to swimming downward.

Great capture, excellent exposure!

Great capture! I only wish you hadn't cut off his hind flippers.

Daniel, nice capture. I personally know how difficult it can be to photograph these worms before they dart back into thier tubes.

I would have to agree with you. I was shooting macro and not anticipating the arrival of this whitetip. The strobe barely reached the shark and definately lost some color saturatiion during the exposure. I'm not efficient enough with Photoshop to have corrected it, I only just started using Elements 3. Thanks for your comments.

Kristian, I agree that it should be cropped a little tighter, or for even a more dramatic feel of isolation compose the subject to the extreme right. I really like the vastness of the environment in the background.
Well done!
