    Sharp, and I agree the grasses frame this bird very well. This image shows how closely the bird's plumage matches its surroundings and how it becomes temporarily exposed as it molts into its winter garb. Alex

    Great capture. I love the way the birds all seem to be scanning the landscape as they emerge from the water. The larger image really shows off the sharpness and detail of this photo. Alex

    Great composition. Love the "face to face" perspective on the Gannet at the top of the frame as well as the way you pulled this pair together as a kind of mid-way close-up. Nice and sharp too. Well done! Alex
