Hola Alberto,  Expressive and nice portrait of this fine little dog and the thought that was in her head that moment.  ~Sky

Thanks Susan. Glad you like these. I might crop this one someday, since it's not as "sky blue" as I like. Think I'm gonna have to get my monitor calibrated pretty soon because I've reached a point that I don't trust what I'm sending to the lab anymore. ~Sky
  1. Howdy Susan,

Yep this was my son's horse when he was a little fellow. Ol'e Buddy reached his limit a couple of years ago pushing 30 years old. The nose was actually permanently bent to the right. It was broken severely when he was kicked by a big horse as a young pony - he was a gentle and good horse for my son.

I think a big stray dog got the hen, well all the hens while we were at church. (Didn't eat a one, just littered the yard with black chickens.)

I'm glad I got this picture. It happened quite a few times. I think we see much of life that is special to us but we don't contemplate that one day it will be gone. Nice how photography keeps those memories alive. Glad for your visit, Susan and good to see you again. ~Sky

Well it's true. You are indeed posting again. Hope you are doing well and I'm in time to wish y'all a merry Christmas. Quite a trio here. Reminds me of when I was a little fellow in command of the world. Good seeing your presence again. ~Sky

Hey Alberto, Ivana, and Janis. Sorry I've been rather intermittent of late. I appreciate you all stopping by to look and comment. Hope you each have a merry Christmas. I'll check out the gallery, Ivana, thank you. Great to see you, too, Janis, hope you're doing well, sorry to keep you waiting. Alberto, my friend, thanks for your words, doing well, thank you. Merry Christmas! ~Sky

This has a big feel to it. The empty field lets my imagination have room to work also. (Herds of elk or buffalo, perhaps a Bigfoot passing through, or maybe some honkers out in the middle feeding.) I can do most anything in this photo. I think I'll set up teepees and call a rendezvous before winter sets in. Thanks for letting my imagination run wild. ~Sky
