2.
Thanks to the generosity of Matthew Currie on this forum I have a newly acquired Yashica Minister D ( http://www.photo.net/classic-cameras-forum/00dzpp ). I replaced the light seals, re-glued the frome line in the view finder, and then loaded it with some Tmax 100 that expired in 1992. Took it to a local car cruise-in and thought I would post the results. My scanning skills still leave much to be desired.

 3.
Matthew, I received the Yashica Minister-D and am excited about using it. I hope to replace the light seals in the next few days and try it out. Thank you again for your generosity!

 4.
If you are looking for the Kodak BW that is a c-41 film (BW400cn) I don't think it is still being made. There are, however, as mentioned above still a number of traditional black and white films available.

 5.
You shouldn't have to fire the shutter at all to get it to 1. Just keep winding it. The shutter won't fire until you reach the 1.
-Nord

 6. If you want totally manual the F2-sb has a built-in illuminator which does very well. The down side is that they can be hard to find.
 7.
Here is another. These are just scans on a flatbed of prints

 8.
Cleaned up an old Kodak Tourist and ran a roll of Neopan 400 through it last week.

 9.
I have to agree with the Nikon F3.

 10.
Hi Annie.
You need to turn the crank forward until it stops (like you have done) then turn it back a half turn to put it into the hole provided. That should cock the shutter and allow you to take a picture.
