...I just wish the bottom left hand side was in focus ! But I know also that it could not be in focus in this composition and DOF! A soothing one for the eyes. Lots of details. Excellent background! I like the water drop at the junction !

The bird feeder was just removed for cleaning when this one came and
sat there. Seemed to be disappointed not to find its food!

Here is the info.
Canon MP-E 65 at 3X on a Canon EOS 1Ds MK II. Gitzo 1548 MkII tripod with an Arca Swiss ballhead and RRS macro rail. ISO 400 f 16, 1/4 second. Natural light. No flash.

..thank you very much for your comments. Yes, they are really challenging and that is where the fun is! My aim is to remove the feeder with flowers or simulated flowers to trick them to come to feed and then shoot them.

I was surprised with the result of my 400 DO with the 1.4 TC. Shot
wide open at 5.6. Actually, I was waiting for a kingfisher and while
waiting, decided to take this shot when i saw the spider
approaching. I liked it.
