The curves really lead the eye around the picture, the pattern on the umbrella seems to lead away, and the colour of the lady's dress is quite striking in comparison.

It's a tricky business rating family pictures, but i really like the perspective on this one.

I really like this shot, but I wonder if the composition might be a little improved by cropping a bit more of the water at the base. This would place the river-bank at a 1/3rd intersection.
