Hello mister Hall, you have some very nice pictures! You did submit the other one for critique, I like this one also! I think personally the softing (gaussian blur in PS?) a bit to much. A nice technique is to erease the layer with the blur on places who can use more sharpness like eyes, nose and mouth. But still a lovely pic from a very nice model!

 

Well .. you are a real artist. amazing work. When I have money, something which is lacking for years now, because no one wants to pay for my talents either, I sure would like to buy one of your original photo's!!! so in the end .. someone does want to pay for your talents, just have to make mine more profitable!! Dear Simon, When I rate I always consider very carefully what I do. People here (they told me in a private mail) somtimes don't sleep because of a bad rating, which get's your average down, while the rating was often done just like that.

When I really don't like a pic .. well don't take the energy to rate, rate and comment when you think you can say something meaningfull to help the person improve. I appriciate your reconsidered rating. Kind regards, Nils A.

I'm a big fan of you .. you know this. Some think this one is better as the previous. I love the previous. When I looked at the thumb I tought wow, but now I see the large version .. well .. it's something with the eyes I think. They look .. I don't know .. to much reflection from the light source?? Did you do something with sharpness or unsharpmask?? .. I stick to the previous one .. is the best i.m.o. Kind regards. Nils A.

Thanks so much for critique! The pic is intentionally dark I have to say. It was/is to see how one lightsource works. And me, myself and I .. well and the models, are pretty content with the result. Actually the pics came out better as expected.

I did see you rated my Miss Brasil pic. But you where not to impressed 5/5 or lower. As you see now, it's very nice to recieve some words. So when you rate .. well .. write something too :)

 

It's all about what you want to achive. When I look at this pic without the other one's I imagine you are with your head on a furry pillow. But I guess it is the sweet doggy. The light is oke, your smile is very nice, but your left eye is very dark. How would you discribe? a portrait?

Maybe you can comment yourself what is your intention with the picture, beside this it is a nice pic from a nice smile.
