Do you have to use a center filter manufactured by the same company as the lens? For

instance, If you have a Rodenstock 90mm 6.8, do you need to use a Rodenstock center

filter or can you use the sinar filter?

Is there a revolving back for a Sinar? I have a Sinar F1. It is a pain to rotate it I find.

The reason I am asking all this is that I am building a 6x17 back for my 4x5 and I need to

know how to keep it attached.

Can someone post a picture or a link of the sliding locks on the larger back?

It may be something I looked over, but how does one put a roll film back onto a large

format camera and hold it in place. I have a Sinar F1 and the film holders slip in between

the ground glass and the camera. But how does one put a roll film holder in the same

spot? I assume you take the ground glass off, but how does the roll film holder stay in

place on the camera? I hope I don't sound stupid on this one.

I don't want to spend a fortune on a Nd set yet. I am hoping I can

use one nd filter for now. Which one should I get? I will be

concentrating on sunrises and set mountain scapes with mainly water

foreground.

Okay, what do others use for a polarizer and a lens shade with a Schneider Sa 90mm f8

lens keeping in mind I am using them on a 6x17cm panoramic camera I built.

I have built a 6x17cm panoramic camera using a 1963 Schneider 90mm SA. Can I use a

regular polarizer on the lense without vignetting and can I use a regular wide angle lens

shade on it. If so recommendations on what shade.

Thanks for the information. I am waivering between the use of a bellows or a conical

mount. I think I will start with the conical mount due to the expense and ease. The

prototype I have to set up, what do you people suggest using for subject ect.?

If you see my other posts, I am making a 6x17cm pan camera. I am using a Scheider SA

90mm f8 lens in synchro compur. I need to find out all the distances from the film plane

to the lens for distances from closeup to infinity. Can someone help me with that? Please

make sure to mention where on the lens you are referring to.

Hi I am looking for information on how the schneider focusing mount

works and hopefully get pictures of one. Also, I am looking for a

source where I could buy a used one. I am making a panoramic camera

and I want to be able to focus it. I am using a 90mm sa f8 compur

angulon f8 synchro compur with my Sinar F1 with bag bellows. Or can I
