I like the mood of the picture. The cat's longing for the freedom can be really sensed.

Strong picture, where content is so strong that minor technical faults doesn't matter.

I was just walking around forest park, then I found nice bench to sit.

After a while, I saw movement here and there: Squirrels.

I waited about an hour, then some of the squirrels become fearless (or

noticed that I am not dangerous). The come quite close, dig something

(nuts?) from the ground and eated.

They were sometimes so close that I could take pictures with my pocket

camera that I was luckily carrying with me :)

Opinions/critique?

The squirrel was moving very fast, and this was only frame where it

wasn't moving.

The main subject ofcourse is tree and stones. The melting ice is bit hard to sense, especially without colours.

The sea was melting. Ice was still hard enough to walk, but partiallycovered by water.

I wanted to take tree (common alder) with beach stones as main subjectof picture, and melting sea at background. Hopefully I succeed.

The location is Porkkala peninsula, apr.50 km east from Helsinki,Finland.

Picture taken just before sun drops behind the clouds. This wastaken at Porkkala peninsula, South coast of finland.

The Gulf of Finland was still frozen and temperature was cold(about 10 degrees below zero at Celsius). The snow was like powder.

Vantaa river (vantaanjoki) flooding at late summer 2004.

The water level was 2-3 meters above normal, and water was reallymuddy. There is driftwood also in this picture.
