Probably not :D
Actually, this building is part of old Vantaankoski ironworks, buildin early 19th century. Mainly they manufactured cannons for Russianarmy, especially later, during war of Crimea.
Now most of buildings are gone or totally ruined.
Photographed just before rain.

Rose after the rain. How do you like it?

The colors are awesome and contrast is really well handled.
As composition, at first glance it seemed really good, but when I had stared a while, the location of the bones begun disturb me.
My opinion is that picture would be better if camera had been couple of meters or yards left.
Wild guess: was there sun at right, preventing choosing angle I suggest? Or some other thing?

Thats beautiful. I am rabbit freak :)
But that does not matter much, because composition and peaceful feeling in the picture is so strong.
Good job! 7/7

The factory building was originally built at 1888, and restored 2002.
I used to play in http://194.188.93.116/gm/wl/newsp/vs/spages/tv/images/vkoski2.jpg">theruins of factory when I was child.
Too bad, that I newer photographed ruins, I didn't expected that itchanges - it has always been there..
So now, picture of restored factory building and Vantaankoskiriver with it's rapids.
Hope you like this. All comments and critique are warmly welcome :)

I really like this. Compsition is good, and whole picture is full of warm afternoon feel.
The hare's (I assume it's brown hare) ears are beatifully transparent against backlight.
This is the picture that would be nice on wall as big picture.

I put this to uncategorized.. Not sure whether this is flower orlandscape picture :)

This is really stunning action shot!
Where I live, is no wild rapids, only Polar Hares and European Hares. These are not rare, but capturing such animal in running full speed... Thats spectacular!
Really good job!

Bit experimental photo. Sunlight shines through leaves, shows holesin them, and makes "skeleton" of leaf visible.
Personally I like this much, but I need some advice.. Is the dark leafgood? Should it be darker?

Dry dock at Suomenlinna seafortress, near Helsinki, Finland.
I was photographing that area, when rain clouds began to form and risefrom north.
The orange filter I used, took some darkest details, but I amsatisfied with result.
Question is, what's your opinion?

Karhunjuomalampi (I cannot translate it exactly, but it means lakeletwhere bears used to drink). Located at Pyhätunturi nature park,Lapland, at north Finland.
The lakelet was calm and trees reflected nicely.

Spring has come, snow has melt. River runs free and trees has treeshave soon leaves....
Any opinions or critiques?

Any opinions of this? I found that it's hard to compose picture
where's only one subject...

The picture is taken on November 2003, when autumn was extraordinarywarm and snow came late.
The river is "vantaa river" (vantaanjoki), and water is so low thatrapids are not exactly cascading...
What makes this picture important (besides that I like it), is that innext spring ugly bridge was build over this rapids, and picturelike this one cannot take any more :(
Hope you like the picture, and if like, let me know it :)
All critiques are welcome.

The old dam of vantaankoski (vantaa rapids), at Vantaa, Finland.
This is one of my favourite photographing locations, and I have manypictures of this dam.
But this from time I introduce bit different angle :)
What do you think?

Thanks :)

Forest full of anemones (Anemone nemorosa), lot of them. If you lookclosely, you can find some hepaticas (hepatica nobilis) too.
Taken on Karkali nature reserve, Lohja, Finland at 8th May 2005.
I used wratten 81a warming filter, hopefully effect wasn't too strong.
As usual, all critique and comments are welcome.

Small river, birch and fields at calm and peaceful summer evening.
The light was really "soft" and beautiful.
Hope you like this. All critique and comments are welcome :)
