I never had any dead, dying or hot pixels with my film camera.
-
Are you testing without film? if so you must flip the multiple exposure lever. It is possible there is a problem with the bellows unit.
-
The Bronica Etr series will sync at all shutter speeds.
-
Are you setting the f-stop on the camera to the same f-stop setting on the flash?
-
Melisa, you may want to measure the ceiling. I don't think trailers have 8 ft ceilings. Probably 7 at best.

Sounds like your batteries are not getting charged. But it sounds like you have now had 2 different batteries and charger. How long do you charge your batteries. Could something be pushing a buttom/switch while the camera is in your bag causing a battery drain?

I thought the Hoya HMC was a good multicoated filter?
-
Is the L bracket causing the problem? if so take he bracket off when you put it in the pack. 6 inches sounds more like the width of the camera instead of the height.

Sonya, I ran into the same thing when I first tried manual mode. The problem as I believe Timothy pointed out, is you have it grossly under exposed. In manual you are responsible for shutter speed and aperture setting. So far for low light I put it in Aperture priority and adjust to the lowest setting on my lens F4.0 (70-200L F4.0) and I let the camera handle the shutter speed.

Used to order import Reala from B&H for both 35mm and 120. I usually ordered a years supply at a time to save on shipping. I would order in late winter or early Spring while the weather was cool to prevent any heat problems. Never any problem, even the order I had to place during mid-summer.

Thanks for the info so far but I'm not really worrying about the voltage aspect, I'll measeure and use a Safe-Sync if necassary. It's the Camera's hot shoe with its 5 connector points that concerns me. Will a regular flash just slide on and work? or do I need an adapter? For the Metz will a generic hotshoe to PC adapter work? Thanks

OK, I got an XTi for Christmas. How do I use my Metz 60-4 and Sunpack 383 with
my new camera? There is no PC socket, so I assume I need some type hotshoe
adapter? I tried a search but my arguement returned everything with Metz and
nothing that helped. Tks

Well I'm no expert on the XTi, just opened the box late last nite(my first taste of digital)! I did notice that changing the whitebalance to tungsten from auto made a dramatic difference in indoor shots. Still trying to figure out how to turn off the popup flash. May have to open the book tonite.

I can't believe the lense image circle would be any bigger than needed to cover a frame of 35 film. So it would produce a round image in the center of the 6X7 frame with lots of vignetting. But I'm no lense expert.
-
I just ordered a 17-40 F4L and a 70-200 F4L for my XTi. Thought about the 24-105 as a single do all lense but wanted a little more range on each end.

Well I just ordered a XTi and a 17-40 F4L and a 70-200 F4L. Seriously considered the 24-105 F4L IS but for about the same money extended my focal length over 100mm. For a single lense I think the 24-105 would be great.

A 2x and a 150 for 300mm or a 2x and a 180 for 360mm

THERE WAS A SPECIAL EDITION OF SOME SORT YEARS AGO. I'm sure the green color would add some to its worth. More to someone who was trying to put together a complete green outfit maybe.
-
I like the 180PE because it has closer minimum focus than the 150,3.3ft compared to 4.9. Also I prefer a little more reach or a little tighter view of the 180mm. The 150 is lighter 1.40lbs compared to 1.85lbs. hence the 150mm rides in my backpack, the 180 rides in the big bag.

Edward, I went back and saw the nail heads you mentioned, but I think the angle of the shot with film has a lot to do with the lack of visibility of the nailheads. The digital has a more downward angle while the film shot is much nearer to being parallel to the tin causeing the nailheads to be much harder to see.

Take a look at this webcam from the north part of the Smokies,it's Purchase Knob. I frequently look at this in the mornings, it frequently has exactly what you are looking for. I have also seen this along I-75 North(maybe 20-30 miles? cant remember) of Knoxsville where is crosses some ridges.

The 55mm is fairly wide which will be more likely to have vigneting.

Get a Wein-SafeSync and stop worrying

Either all are backwards or none are backwards. The seq# is in the same place on every pic. The seq# does appear to be inverted, this may be normal, since the pics are obviously not upside down. They seem to be looking every where except at the camera, except one or two.
