Sorin, this shot is simply stunning. I love the dynamic lines, the dynamism and the "adventure/impeding disaster/descent into dark depths" feel of this.
My only point of critique (more a suggestion really) would be to remove the hint of colour around the explorers (you can see what I mean in large view). I think that the picture would work even better as a monochrome colour pic or a black and white, simply because any colour distracts from the overall composition and feel that makes the shot so great.

How full/empty is your glass? ;)
PS: Best seen in large size.

Please view at max size. Small view is smeared due to compression.

... but there are a few distractions in the top part of the picture. I would agree on the "curtain" or part of a lamp in the top left, it disrupts the darkness and causes lots of reflexions on the couch. Also, I assume you used a quite wide setting on the wide angle ... there seems to be a fair bit of distortion that you can see in the lines in the top part of the picture between the "curtain", the piece of wall, the top border of the couch and again in the curve where the model sits on the couch itself (horizontal lines would probably work better here). I think you would need an element of tranquility in the top part to not distract too much from the model and the lines of the dress in the bottom part.
Still, the shot evokes lots of class and passion. Hope to see more of those.

Very beautiful nude indeed - probably the most elegant and sophisticated one in a while.
Only thing that doesn't entirely work for me here is that all the tension and drama takes place in the lower section, both in terms of light and movement (in intensity almost a tango or flamenco dance), but it is a vertical picture, so the top part seems somewhat "abandoned". Maybe enhancing the contrast a little or adding a light source to give the ropes a little more life would make the picture virtually perfect.
Still a very definite yes :)

The beauty and the beast(s) ;) Very fresh idea ... gratz!

It tells any story you like, I imagined a failed date in a romantic
location. What's left is the soft drink that now the spiders and
insects are taking care of.
Curious to know what other people would come up with.
PS: Technical comments also welcome.
Enjoy :)

Nice action shot, I like the dynamic lines and the energy of the pic.
Don't like the borders of the filter on the edges of the picture (from the wide angle lens) - could be cropped or cloned out. Not sure about the use of the flash or spotlight, it seems to make the bottom half too white/bright as opposed to the part with the skateboarder, but maybe this is your choice to focus on the rail as the title suggests.

Just five viewings so far ... don't think it's THAT bad ;)

Drumming stripped to bare essentials?

Would just like to know what it makes people think of really. I
swear it reminds me of a movie, but can't really make up my mind
about which one it was.
Many thanks,

Feels like something is missing in the white area on the right hand
side of the picture, don't really know what though (one idea was to
clone/copy in some more accentuated clouds) ... all suggestions
welcome.
Thanks,

Very Dalí¥sque. The dynamic composition and high contrast make for a very interesting Picture. Placing the lone walker in the picture creates the surreal atmosphere.
Excellent!

Hi Michael, thanks for the comment. The things on the right are little stalls where during the day merchants sell anything from antique books, prints, magazines to cheap touristy reproductions of classic pieces of art.
I did try framing the picture vertically, but the open space on the left side of the picture is needed to balance the line created by the stalls ... kindof a trick one ;)

Any suggestions welcome... feels like some things could be better,
but not quite sure what.
Thanks,
