jleephoto 0 Posted February 17, 2007 Soze - very interesting shot. I love the way the red velvet leads the eye into the picture to the subject. The centered red tones (and the nude female) keep your eye there. I find the bright curtain on the top left very distracting and picture a bit dark on my monitor, but this is a truly wonderful shot. Bravo! Link to comment
zastrozzi 0 Posted February 17, 2007 Only the dangling object from the left detracts from this image imo. I do wish to see more detail in the image but can also understand why you chose to go dark. Excellently executed shot. Link to comment
andrzejp 9 Posted February 17, 2007 Again I agree with James. White object in the left is completely out of place. Link to comment

nickschaefer1 0 Posted February 23, 2007 ... but there are a few distractions in the top part of the picture. I would agree on the "curtain" or part of a lamp in the top left, it disrupts the darkness and causes lots of reflexions on the couch. Also, I assume you used a quite wide setting on the wide angle ... there seems to be a fair bit of distortion that you can see in the lines in the top part of the picture between the "curtain", the piece of wall, the top border of the couch and again in the curve where the model sits on the couch itself (horizontal lines would probably work better here). I think you would need an element of tranquility in the top part to not distract too much from the model and the lines of the dress in the bottom part. Still, the shot evokes lots of class and passion. Hope to see more of those. N. Link to comment
