  3. This problem also occurs when the film is not correctly placed in the back. Please check with a manual at hand if you insert the film correctly, main issue is to make sure the film is placed correctly under the guide on the front of the cassette. The guide lifts during film insertion and lowers when film placement has been completed. It happened to me also once by accident ...

  6. i also joined in August 1997, but due to changes in company and email accounts, i had to create a new account many years ago. Have enjoyed many moments of reading on this forum, and also learned a lot. I am still interested in medium format photography, but also in Nikon and Sony mirrorless camera's. Usage of classic lenses on the Sony mirrorless is something i really like to do, but the quality of nowadays glass is so good that i do not invest in classic lenses so much anymore. It is just fun ...
  7. i do own and use the techart Sony E to Nikon Z adapter, i used it a lot for Sony 24-105 4.0 lens on Nikon Z7. my experience is that it worked much better than other adapters that convert from Nikon to Sony E. I will keep on using it to adapt Sony glass for creating movies with Z7. I was very pleasantly surprised with the Techart adapter. The firmware update of the adapter is available through the lens cap on the body side, where a USB cable can be plugged in. I do not own any Canon glas in my collection, so i have no interest in that. @Chung: i once mounted an RZ67 shift 75 lens on my Nikon V1 :-) with adapters

  13. They have registered my serial nr, so i assume for one camera only ...don’t know what will happen in case of tech problems. In principle it is a license i purchased.
  14. I was at the Nikon service center this afternoon, and did the 200 euro enabling of prores raw. To me it seems that a kind of software certificate is installed in the camera, and Nikon has to pay a license fee for this. After upgrading the firmware of the Atomos Ninja V to version 10.2 i can create movie material in Prores Raw now. I will experiment with it in the coming days ... i suggest to interested people to careful follow the instructions provided by Nikon in a special publication on this subject. It does work well.... i will test in coming days with the Techart adapter with Sony FE lenses also

  17. You have bought the best SWC ever produced by Hasselblad in my humble opinion. In the lens of the 905, the successor model, it was not allowed by law to use lead in the glass lens elements anymore. I bought the last 903 SWC available in the Netherlands new when 905 was introduced. Made beautiful images at Kinderdijk - The Netherlands with the 903. It has not been used frequently, but i will never sell it ... The mat glass adapter is a very valuable addition if you can still find one for a decent price, and can be combined with the RFX viewfinder, or the old style chimney finder. I wish you lots of pleasure with your 903 SWC.
  18. Mike, i could test for you the Nikon 85 AF-S 1.4, or Sony G M 85mm 1.4 .... i do not have the Samyang .. sorry
