1.
The 410 is quite a bit smaller than the 405 and easier to operate. I own two of them for landscape photography. I mount medium format SLRs on them without problems. They do wear over the years, therefore I would not buy a used 410. If you do, check carefully for play in the gears. In my experience the play is best noticed when a substantial camera is mounted.

For a while the play can be remedied by dismantling the circular gear and turning to an unused part of the circle.

Ferdi.

 2.
I have two other links:
http://srb-photographic.co.uk/rollei-bayonet-ii-step-rings-838-c.asp 46 mm
http://www.camera-depot.com/TLR.htm scroll all the way down: 46 mm and 52 mm

 3.
When it comes to product photography I am a plain amateur. My approach would be to keep it as simple as possible. Use a good digital compact camera with a long zoom lens and a tripod. As was advised above keep your distance from the product. As far as possible and the lens allows. Avoid tilting the camera so you will not need a tilt/shift lens. Raise the tripod so that the camera is halfway the height of the product. I assume these measures will take care of distortion.

The images are meant for the internet so "compact" quality is good enough. I see no need for fancy expensive equipment like LF of tilt/shift.

 7.
With respect to my earlier post I would like to add that I am not the author of the PDF. I found it here on Photo.net and kept a copy in my off-line archive. Unfortunately the author is unknown but I think it is o.k. to make the text available on Photo.net again.
Ferdi.

 15.
You can only download the latest version of the firmware. It is a complete version. You do not need an earlier versions and therefore they are not available.
Format the SD-card in the camera first.
Download the update file into an empty directory ("folder") of your PC to make sure that the file name is not corrupted and also that you are not going to use an earlier version. You cannot go back to an earlier firmware version and you cannot overwrite the current version.
Then copy the update file to the root ("highest") directory of the card.
That is all.
When updating fails you have either the right file with the wrong name, or an earlier, unusable file with the right name.

Good luck.

 16.

Do you know by any chance where is the best place to get some accessories for rollei?

Not really, I live too far away to be of much help. Off course film magazines are sold on that auction site eXxx. Make sure you buy the right magazines labeled "6000" not "6006" or so. I have tried to explain the Rolleiflex 6000 system:
http://www.rolleigraphy.photo/system6000.php
A dealer of new and used Rolleiflex products is:
http://rolleiflex.us/collections/rollei-used-items?page=1
Enjoy the camera,
Ferdi.

 17.
Hello Natalia,
Most likely your battery is dead. Before anything else, have that checked. Can you see any response from the LEDs in the finder? Low battery is indicated by the word "CHarGE" in strange square print. You really have to know the word to recognise it. The procedure is: use main switch on the right side (nothing happens), then push the grey lightmeter switch forward. Now the LEDs should show a text for a short while. Could be something like BC FULL, bc=4, bc=2, etc, or the previously mentioned "charge". After showing "charge" the camera will switch off. You can find a manual here:

http://www.butkus.org/chinon/rollei/rollei_rolleiflex_6008/rolleiflex_6008.htm

For battery repair (new, better cells) contact:

http://www.laflexcamera.com

Good luck,
Ferdi.

 18.
I have experienced similar behavior but only under extremely humid conditions. Relative humidity was nearly 100%. After taking the 6008i indoors it "settled down" and worked normally again.

Ferdi

 19.
Model 3.5 C in Europe; 3.5 E in others markets, like the USA. The finder hood of your camera is not 'removable'.

http://www.rolleigraphy.photo/sn75.php

Ferdi.

 20.
In Buenos Aires you could contact ABC Service or Casa Schwarz. They service Hasselblads. As far as I know they do not sell them but perhaps they can point you to a seller.

Ferdi.

 22.
Michael,

In my earlier answer to your original question I provided a link to a page of mine regarding the Rolleiflex System 6000. This morning a found an error on that page regarding the 4560 back. The "introduction" page showed the correct information but the "chart" itself the error. The chart is corrected now. When viewing the chart, please scroll all the way down to the closing line and check the version number: V.551. If lower click on the version number and your browser should perform a "reload from server" and V.551 will be loaded. Sorry for the confusion.

The 4560 back will work with the 6008 i and 6008 E, not with the earlier 6008 prof (src 1000) unless factory upgraded. Read my text about the "index number" for the firmware on the "introduction" page. It is part of the serial number. It should be 3 or higher on a 6008. There is the chance that a camera with a lower index had its firmware upgraded so it is best to test.

Before mounting a 4560 back the film gate for 120/220 backs has to be removed. It is a chrome square frame that can be prized out using a finger nail. In earlier (unfit) cameras this film gate is fixed with 4 tiny screws.

When mounting a 4560 no changes to the finder are needed, provided a screen with horizontal and vertical frame lines for 4.5x6 is used. Most screens have the frame lines. A point to check when buying.

It is a bit complicated.
Best regards,
Ferdi.
Introduction Rolleiflex System 6000
Comparative Chart Rolleiflex System 6000

 23.
Michael,
That's the advantage of the 4560 back: you don't have to turn the whole camera, just the back.
Best regards,
Ferdi.

 24.
Michael,

You are right about horizontal and vertical 4.5x6 options for the SL66.

First of all, that is for the SL66 only (body: chrome metal/black leather), not for the SL66 X, E or SE (black/black). Those only have the horizontal option for 4.5x6. As far as I can learn from literature there were no dedicated SL66 backs for 4.5x6 (H or V) but one has to use the standard 6x6 back with the proper film insert. Possibly with finder frames. I have no information about the number of 4.5x6 sets. Could be few and hard to find.

I feel that a Rolleiflex 6008i with the later 4.5x6 back (Magazin 4560) is a better option. That back can be turned horizontally or vertically and they are regularly offered for sale. Beware: Earlier backs for 4.5x6 did not have that switch option. Not all earlier Rolleiflex System 6000 cameras can take the Magazin 4560.

System 6000
