IMO, this would be a better photo without the noise.

Pleasing composition and interesting subject matter.
-
Fortuitous capture. Shows nicely the power of this animal.
-
I love the composition but the tonality is a bit dark for my tastes.
-
Excellent conceptual photo.

While the shot certainly contains drama and action, I find that the unnatural color cast harms the image.
-
Excellent tonality and detail.

Wonderfully calm photo. Nothing spashy or abrupt; it reminds me of a Japanese garden.

With all respect, the last image posted goes to far, IMO. I find the "raccoon" eyes distracting. And I must disagree about the "imperfections" mentioned above. She has freckles. Some find that charming. And just as a red filter is not usually used for portraits, I believe that the choice of the red channel to be unusual. I much prefer the second rendition though I think the darks could be emphasized mmore but not as much as the last photo posted. Just my 2 cents worth...:)

The flowers are lost in the other details. Perhaps another framing would have isoloated them more?

A moving shot of an innocent observer.

Nicely done shot showing the interaction of the wildlife. IMO, the framing is a bit "loose". There seems to be a lot of unnecessary water shown.
-
Evocative picture. The hotspots do tend to interfere though.
-
Imaginative shot that pulls the eye in but unfortunately doesn't hold it.

This shot is a prime example that good images are all around us. We just have to see them and pluck them from their surroundings.

The shot could be strengthened by showing her expression. And welcome to PN!

Unusual perspective that is marred by the out of focus near piling.
