Great photo presentation as usual. Nice subtle tones and colors with the right amount of light draw you in for a closer look. Well done.

This was a window display in an Irish Pub that I thought made an
interesting composition. What you see is what you get with no touch
ups. Comments and critiques always welcome. Thank you.

Sarah: Thank you for the compliment, your comments mean a lot and more so from such an experienced photographer as yourself.

This is a color shot - but the crystals and black tablecloth make it
look otherwise. Any thoughts or critiques are welcome, good or bad
just add to the learning process.

One of those simple great captures most of us would just walk on by. Nice job.
-
Leenda: I really like this shot mainly because it draws you in and makes you want to study it. As usual, superb.
-
Thank you for the note -- just one of those super clear days.

I just liked the blue, white contrast making it quite stark.
Thoughts, notes, comments?

Great shot - very well done!

Nice shot but have to agree with the others that the a lot of the grey sky could be cropped out.

Linda: I saw this shot and got it also in your e-mail - as noted by others it's a very moving shot and really well executed. The Wall was on the green here in East Haven only a couple of months ago and I got a few shots but none nearly as good as this. Thank you..
-
Linda: I really like this shot - you've done an excellent job on being able to capture the sunset yet preserve all the colors and details of the boats, water and sky. Not an easy task.
-
Linda: Thanks for the note -- following is the shot in B & W but I think it looses more detail, not sure, you tell me.
-
Any thoughts of this shot are appreciated.
-
CJ: I too like this one better than the other. The colors work so well together and you get a real feeling for the texture of the building. Nice composition and nice shot.
-
CJ & Linda: Thank you both for the words of encouragement - they are taken to heart and mean a lot. These shots are done strictly for the fun of it and trying to obtain a bit of creativity. Thank you again.

Wasn't sure what catagory to place this in. Ran across this old
covered bridge in Vermont on a beautiful sunny day yet the light
inside still burned brightly.
Comments, ratings or suggestions for improvements are appreciated.

Roger: I have to agree with Daily - when this first popped up I thought it was a watercolor till I read your description. Very well done - nice to see the mondane turned into a work of art.
