1930 film star transported to a new age nice idea
-
Great new image of a familiar place
-
-
Droollike the photo too
-
Good contrast, good composition. The arch and alcove add a lot.
-
The pose might have been interesting but the focus and lighting distracts

This Sand Hill crane was taking a quick break from trying to find
worms and bugs in the lakeshore to see if I had some human food to
share.

Great bird shot
-
Great light and a nice play of shapes. A good, pleasant image.

Very pleasing, nicely shot, but we sure can tell who rules this cats world
-
Nice shapes but the lack of detail inside the cars distracts from the overall appearance
-
I like the idea, but find the contrast almost to high.

great contrast

I like nature photos where a beautiful thing also looks fearsome. The feet could easily be fangs or teeth if this were a poster for a horror movie. The starfishs back would have made a great abstract. The rock contrasts well. I would have liked a little more depth of focus to bring in the upper right. But overall, very pleasing.

Very pleasing with a lot of character. The green turban is a great contrast to the grey of the rest of his clothes and the background. I would have cropped some off the left side.
-
A good idea. I would have liked it much better with a little light reflected onto her face and the flowers. The grainy/pastel look fits very well.

You learn something every day. If you rate photos through the "Rate recent photos" on the Photo.net home page explaination like those you supplied with the posting do not show up. It explains the image. I would still have liked to see the shoreline closer to horizontal.
-
Very pleasing image. The only part that seems to distract is the lack of contrast on the dead braches in the fore-middle.
-
Exposure on the deer is great. The background distracts. I feel it should either be sharper or much more out of focus.

The shore line (horizon) bothers me. Also the green cast seems out of place. Would a gray cast have been better for the upper section?
