ray watson 0 Posted January 18, 2005 White tail buck. 8 point. Good opportunity to photograph this guy as he wandered around. There are 2 other photos of this deer in the same folder. Critiques / comments welcome. Link to comment
dahamr 0 Posted January 18, 2005 Love the focus in this image. The background really helps the deer to stand out. One of the first things I noticed was that you caught the eye of the deer perfectly as well. I have had enough opportunities to achieve this type of shot but cannot say I have had results as good as this. Great work. Guest Guest Posted January 18, 2005 Very good details. The 70-200 appears to be a very good lens. From the large view, it appears that the RAW mode eliminated any artifact associated with the Canon JPEG compression. Link to comment
ray watson 0 Posted January 19, 2005 I'm very happy with the 70-200 F4. I have used the 2.8 IS which is amazing but quite heavy ( and expensive ). The RAW format does do a good job. Link to comment
doug_stanley 0 Posted January 19, 2005 Exposure on the deer is great. The background distracts. I feel it should either be sharper or much more out of focus. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 20, 2005 Bit dark in my book Ray. Shot like this doesn't come along often. Sharp and well composed. Link to comment
