The Inverse Square Law for light is your friend for this image. The short side lighting is too strong in this case. BTW, she looks about as enthusiastic as my daughter does when I ask her to sit for me....lol

Geart work here. The composition is perfect. I went further and looked over your portfolio and I love the boldness in you landscapes. Can you give me a hint? The effect is great!

This image is a very nice reminder that the "Real World" is not just a bunch of hard bodied 20 somethings willing to pose for the camera. the internet is full of them. Seeing so many all of the time kind of numbs the senses to the eroticism of the form.

This image invokes a much more realistic sense of the human form we are all more familiar with on a personal level. Unless, it is everybody else besides me whose wife still looks like a supermodel after ten years of marriage and a couple of kids!

    Very nice work.

  1. Down here in jersey, we call it "cedar water". Mostly likely, it is aslo called the same there too. It originates from bogs and swamps where there are stands of cedar trees and there is a whole chemical thing for why it happens that's too deep to get into in this forum. But anyway, there you have it. Some call it tea water and where the acids are a bit stronger, it kinda looks like birch beer.

Now you've gone and done it! You've managed to turn a minor domestic difference of opinion into an international incident...My how things can escalate so easily...LOL

I've come back to this image a few times and after looking at it a while I'm a little distracted with the blur on the sides in the lower corners. I love the compsition and I am a big fan a fog/falling snow shots so, that part is great. Do you have another that is not as soft on the sides?

This is pretty cool. From my perspective as an outsider country person looking in; I see a city person in their element and on the go. It is a good representation of how fast city life can be.

Dave, I agree with Kate about the house, but I also think it could work well both ways. The crop on the house is a bit tight. I wish there could be more open sky like this in Jersey.

Hello, I would have to agree with the opinion of the sky as previously mentioned. Other then that, this image is one that certainly keeps the eyes busy. Nicely done and thanks for your comments left on one of mine.

Excellent exposure! I usually prefer the slow shutter waterfall shots, but the faster shutter works great here. The course detail of the water is complimented by the course detail of the rocks and vice versa.
