Sunset Cliffs - San Diego, California

This is the color version of the BW that I posted earlier. While I

prefer the BW I was wondering what other people thought.

Comments are very welcome! Positive comments make my day, but I learn

more from the critical ones.

Black and White Version

Both versions work very well and I agree that the b&w version has more of a "wow" to me. I do things mostly in colors and prefer this one. The composition, colors, details, lighting and dof are in short, nicely done. But just bits of the clouds are overexposed.

I wish I could be more critical for you, but this is a great capture of lines in natural symetry and perspective.

I love this shot.

If it is possible to improve I would have the lines from the rocks lead into the picture at more of a diagonal - it might be more powerful. Just a thought. Great shot though.

I have to vote for the B&W though i do like the colour too. The B&W emphasizes the lines especially on the cliff face which gives a more dramatic effect

I am a big fan of contrast and I find that the B&W lacks that a little. So, for once, I actually prefer the colour one. But it's a fantastic shot!

What an interesting shot. That is the kind of seascape i would be very proud of createing. It also brings back some great memories of my times that i spent in the San Diego area in the past. Would love to see the B&W shot of it.

This is one of my favorites in your beautiful portfolio, and I prefer the color version...all those wonderful greens are lost in b&w.
