Thanks for the feedback, guys! This was taken at dusk, so I didn't have enough light to get a better reflection in the pool. Still felt it was a shot worth taking.

Thanks for the comments, Jason! These are pictures of my daughter. She thinks it's cool, but my wife agrees with you; she says it's freaky!

Nicholas,
This one really struck me. As someone who prefers black and white, I was surprised at how well the saturation of colors here worked for me. Makes it look like something out of a storybook!
I also checked out the rest of your portfolio. You have a good eye, and I enjoy your compositions; enough out of the ordinary to show some personality!

Calee,
Okay, I've been going through your portfolio trying to come up with some useful tips for you (like you have done for me), and I can't. I think your shots are very good; they show a sense of reverence for your subject matter and communicate the palpable sense of history in them. Keep it up!

Makes me think of the interior shots at the beginning of The Wizard of Oz. So dismal. Very striking!

Calee,
There is something very spooky about this shot. I love woods in black and white. So, was the bridge Bamboo, as well?

Axel,
I love this shot! The clock sculpture is offset well by the actual clock on the building in the background. And thanks for the comments on my pics, also!

Rafal,
I almost NEVER give 7s, but this shot took my breath away. Amazing clarity and very expressive angle. Great work!

Thanks for the feedback and advice, Rod!

VERY cool. Initially, it looks like a geometric design that someone has drawn, but then almost instantly you see the tip of the umbrella and realize it's a photo. Well done!

Thanks, Chad!

Thanks for the comments! I must say I am rather proud of how this one turned out. I did the black and white version first, but then realized just how striking the color version was. Other than decreasing the brightness and increasing the contrast slightly, I didn't modify this photo at all. Sometimes you just get lucky, I guess!
