For my other haunted photos, I've used either the darken, lighten,
or the normal layer settings for creating the clouds and mists on
the daytime shots. I used the multiply layer setting on this one,
and was very happy with the result. What do you think?

Another new Haunted Pic. Comments appreciated!

First Haunted Pic I've done in awhile. Let me know what you think!

Claude and Dick,
Thanks for the feedback. Maybe with such a simple, angular structure like this a simple, angular shot is better after all.

I like the other shot I have of this church. This one feels
too "straight on" to be interesting.

Thanks for all the feedback. I will have to go back to the originals on these three and see if I can do some more tweaking!

On these I actually was going for a slightly overexposed look to mimic older photography; I adjusted the brightness down and the contrast up a bit. Thanks for the feedback!

Alex,
Whenever someone comments on my pics, I try to come and visit their portfolio and provide some sort of useful feedback. As I skimmed through yours, this photo more than any other caught my eye. It was fun to discover a whole new level of detail in the graininess of the sand encrusting the boat and prop that was not obvious from the thumbnail. It was almost as though it popped out at me as I pulled up the larger view. Very good piece, in my opinion.

Old railroad station, caboose, and livery stable.

How do you know that's a real guy and not a ghost? Hmmm...

The slanted perspective of your shot really compliments the slanted nature of this old house. Bravo!

Kenneth,
That is one thing I really hate about finding these old buildings; in most cases they are either too dangerous to enter, or are plastered with no trespassing signs, or both. Window shots are the best I usually get, but I'd love to be able to actually get inside, you know?
That being said, this is a great shot!

Good shot, Al. The goose stands out well against the trees, and it's not often you see these creatures looking as majestic as this. And thanks for the feedback on my work, as well!

Kevin,
I like this one also, but not as much as the other PHC shot. Still, the gravestones on the snow provide a great source of contrast. Bravo!

Kevin,
I LOVE this shot. A very good sense of mood and atmosphere. Hadn't thought about doing cemetaries in the snow, but I think I might have to try it! Thanks for the feedback on my work, as well!

This is a very good shot of a fun little piece of architecture. Perhaps something in the frame to help us establish the size; a person or recognizable object. But I do love the shot!

I love this shot! Good pics all around, but this one really grabbed me!

Great effect. You come up with effects manually that some of us "digital manipulators" will never be able to reproduce. Nicely done!

Shot further back than the previous two submitted. The web itself
is in the shape of a bikini bottom, which I thought was funny. it
also appears to be hanging from the two large trees in the
background, which is also amusing.
