"Canadian Goose"

Good shot, Al. The goose stands out well against the trees, and it's not often you see these creatures looking as majestic as this. And thanks for the feedback on my work, as well!

Nice shot, Al. The only thing that bothers me is that the constrast between subject and background is not very clear. Otherwise, great placement and superb timing, it looks like it's gonna fly in the next instant. Bravo!

I have to say I cannot thank you enough for following my work. It's really very flaterring for a beginner like me to get attention from an accomplished photographer like you. Very unique shot, nicely framed. I agree with the comment above - the weaker contrast between the goose and the background doesn't do the great pose justice. At least, could the background be sellected in PS or GIMP and blurred more? I'd give it 5 out of 7. With the "right" background, this would easily be a seven. Cheers, Micheal
