Part of a series of photos about our consuming culture. The photos

wer taken with a fixed shutter speed, auto aperature, and estimated

focus and framing (ie, I quickly took it out my sweatshirt pocket and

    snapped pictures without looking)

A part of a large series of photos taken in stores. Please view my

profile to see some of the others. Any advice, ideas, or comments are

    appreciated

  1. the composition and colors are great, but the photoshopping looks awful, to be honest. It's fairly obvious this is a composite image, and the filter you used looks pretty bad.

Sorry if that's harsh sounding. I mean it to be constructive... and i'm in a bad mood.

Any thoughts about this are appreciated. What do you think about the

background, specifically? Do you think the fade looks alright, or

would you prefer to see the whole floor?

Thanks for the comment. I saved the image again with a different color profile and uploaded it - when i saved it before it had lost some of the slight highlights on the lower part of the body.

it would be much improved with about 20 seconds i n photoshop. adjust the levels so you have a pure black and a pure white, and possibly bump up the saturation a tiny bit... maybe not.

mainly, the problem is it's just too flat, but that could certainly be corrected.

i've attached a copy that i basically just did auto levels and contrast and adjusted the hue and saturation slightly.
