Something about it looks like a Global Illumination/Final Gather render in a 3D software. I would really like to know how you got that going. What looks strange is that the ground plane reflected in the spheres seems to have a texture different from the actual ground plane. It must have been quite painful to Photoshop yourself out of every sphere. Anyway, nice concept.

Very nice! The gentleman looks like the Nobel laureate poet R. N. Tagore.

I like the pictorialist look of the image. It bears a very serene and peaceful mood.

Experiment with a Vesta portrait lens. Shot fully open aperture.

Testing the characteristics of a Vesta Portrait lens with an obliging
statue. The dappled background in the Out-of-Focus areas are potted
plants a few feet away.

John, I love the composition and the clarity of this image. Beautiful. Contrast seems to be fine in my opinion.

A very compelling composition in a very moody light, Gary. A fine use of the Biogon I might add.

James, I agree that it would be good if it were a bit larger. In any case, I like the shot. Where was this taken?

A very interesting shot of Bodie. How did you achieve that look? Is it shot on IR film?

Study of an old miner's cabin and alleyway in the ghost town of
Bodie, California. Toned in PhotoShop.

From the camera's point of view, it seemed like the granite boulder
was trying to trample the Joshua tree.

That painting in the background adds so much more to the photograph. A very thoughful choice.
-
In what way? Nice caption though.

You have captured a very unique mood in this. Very nice.
-
Beautiful close up. I like the angle of the shot at ground level.
