This is fantastic. The first thing that came to my mind was that this was a shot done from space. The backdrop looks like the Earth from space. Great image.

I think it's a wonderful image. The cropping is perfect and I like the coolness to the image. The classic triangle of the three subjects make it work. Excellent job.

Thanks for the feedback. For me, the pole gives me the sensation of passing by it as I fly over the meadow. (At least that's what I was attempting.) :)

Thanks for the comments. This was taken from the inside of a railway logging car. It was actually taken in colour; the steel is a deep red set against a lovely blue sky. Both images are strong but I preferred the black and white version. I'll have to upload the colour version. :)

I think the framing is perfect. The image makes me wonder what it is at the end of the rope. I would not change a thing in this picture, but if I *were* to change something, I'd adjust the shadows to be darker, making complete silhouettes of the subjects and also bringing more detail in the sky. Easy to do with the scanned image. Try it, I'm sure it will improve it even more. Still, a great photograph you should be proud of! (And clean the dust off it.) :)
