  1. Hi Tony,

Thanks for your comment. It saddens me that this is the only time that I have seen a Whale in the wild and unfortunately after it was beached... As I am hoping to see one alive in the Ocean one day, I've decided to join Greenpeace in their fundraising quest to try and save some whales, if anyone is interested in supporting this cause go to:

This may not be allowed but we do what we can right?

Thanks for your support - Dom

  2. hey Oscar - thanks heaps for your vote of confidence! I'm glad that you like what you've seen. Yeah I do need to keep playing around with the technical aspects a little more - thanks for looking and for your advice. I'll keep you posted as to how I go.

    Thanks

  3. Hi Oscar - thank you for your reply. I think that what I have been trying to do is keep the ISO low so that I get better Image Quality, I'll just have to set my setting to a higher ISO. If you like go to www.obscure.co.nz and type 'Dominika' in under the search to see the 2 shows that I shot at. Thank you ;o)
  4. Hi there, I am trying to get into concert photography and I have a question for you if you would be so kind as to answer it? did you use a flash in this shot or was there lots of light on the person already? I just can't seem to get the same clarity. Do you think that it's the camera or the lens that is more important? Thank you
  5. I don't imagine that anyone would be happy about something like this - it is a sad subject... although I am glad that I did get the chance document it as this is a once in a lifetime occurance (I am hoping there will be no more).
  6. I guess that the feel that I was going for was exactly what it is. It's the end of the festival, people are starting to go home and the sun finally shows up while people are standing amidst all this mud from the previous couple of days...

Please let me know what your thoughts are, this was taken at a place

called 'The Source' where normally you would have the cleanest

drinkable water available from a natural source, however as you can

see we did get it on quite a rough and wet day. Thank you ;o)

  7. Hi there - please let me know what your thoughts are. this was from

a friends performance outside a restaurant. Should I get rid of the

black on the left and just leave a smidgen of the girls face and hat

    on the left? Thanks!
